About St. Pius SS Kiziba
St. Pius SS Kiziba is a Catholic-founded, mixed day and boarding secondary school in Wakiso District, Uganda. We are dedicated to providing quality education and nurturing future leaders grounded in faith, discipline, and academic excellence.
Our History
Rooted in Faith, Growing in Excellence
St. Pius SS Kiziba was established in 1987 by Musiinya Expedito Magembe, then the parish priest, in memory of the Lt. Rev. Pius Ssekibaamu, founder of St. Mbaaga Tuzinde Catholic Church. The school released its first S.4 students in 1991, marking a new era of academic achievement after the civil war.
As a Catholic-founded institution, St. Pius welcomes students of all faiths and backgrounds. We are a licensed and registered mixed day and boarding secondary school, committed to nurturing both spiritual and academic growth.
Over the years, St. Pius SS Kiziba has grown in both size and reputation, producing graduates who have become doctors, nurses, lawyers, teachers, and responsible citizens. Our commitment to quality education and holistic development remains unwavering.
